Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, maintainable software solutions for crypto trading.
- Write code for product features and build secure, scalable, resilient cloud-based services.
- Implement high-performance algorithms for trading and cryptocurrency trading.
- Design APIs, distributed systems, asynchronous workers, and resilient messaging services.
- Contribute to business-critical initiatives with business partners and stakeholders.
- Support software design, releases, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Develop platform services and APIs for trading modules including crossing engines, smart routers, and market-data aggregators.
- Collaborate with large cross-functional teams and contribute to organization-level innovation.
- Guide, coach, and mentor junior engineers and help develop their technical skills.
- Take ownership and accountability for deliverables while supporting multiple releases in parallel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience is required.
- Extensive experience with core Java technologies.
- Working knowledge of relational and time-series databases.
- Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, asynchronous workers, and resilient messaging services.
- Understanding of microservice architecture and cloud-based deployments.
- Ability to build reliable software for unreliable environments with a high degree of automation.
- Proficiency with version-control systems and parallel-release development.
- Interest in and experience with cryptocurrencies, with a commitment to staying current in the space.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business partners and project team members.
- Knowledge of acceptance test-driven development is a plus.
- Preferred experience developing low-latency trading systems and working in capital markets or cryptocurrency trading.
- Preferred experience with matching engines, OMS/EMS platforms, exchange-connectivity platforms, ultra-low-latency design patterns, and trading-system optimization.
- Preferred experience with low-latency messaging products such as Aeron, Solace, and 29West.
- Ability to mentor team members, take ownership, and contribute effectively in a collaborative environment.
