Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination algorithms for air and missile threats.
- Develop high-performance real-time software processing radar data and tracking hundreds of simultaneous targets.
- Build and use modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and system capabilities.
- Integrate tracking solutions with radar engineers and system architects into end-to-end defense systems.
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments and participate in customer demonstrations and field tests.
- Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers.
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include tracking, estimation, filtering, controls, digital signal processing, radar, sensor fusion, high-performance computing, machine learning, database, web development, and modeling or simulation experience.
- Active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance is preferred.
