Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure on-premise Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments, services, networking, Docker, and Linux containers.
- Automate configuration and infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and Terraform.
- Manage code, configurations, and dependencies in local repositories and air-gapped environments.
- Administer Linux and Windows systems, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Configure secure network connections, firewalls, and virtualized storage solutions.
- Set up centralized logging and alerting to monitor infrastructure health.
- Use Python and Bash to automate repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams on sustainable and compliant infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent practical experience in a DevOps or Systems environment.
- Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters, including cluster management and networking.
- Strong proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
- Familiarity with network protocols, secure connections, and firewalls.
- Ability to work in secure, air-gapped environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- German and/or French language skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of network security, threat mitigation, microservices architecture, service mesh technologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and SQL/NoSQL database management is valued.
