Base Salary
$148k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and technical design for complex, customer-facing systems.
- Communicate trade-offs across speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Identify systemic risks and drive improvements across deployments.
- Partner with customers to understand their architecture and workflows.
- Design and deploy production-grade integrations using Middesk APIs.
- Build and operate LLM- and agent-based systems in customer workflows.
- Act as a feedback loop between customers and core product teams.
- Guide engineers through design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping software in production.
- Experience acting as a technical lead or domain owner.
- Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional language.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems and APIs.
- Comfort operating across the stack, including backend systems and tooling.
- Strong debugging instincts and an ownership mindset.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating trade-offs.
