Base Salary
$213k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of 4D world models and generative systems for realistic and controllable simulation.
- Architect scalable ML pipelines for training, evaluating, and deploying large-scale generative models, including model distillation and quantization.
- Build production-ready video generation systems using techniques such as Diffusion and Flow Matching.
- Apply Vision Language Models to improve semantic understanding and controllability of simulation products.
- Collaborate with Waymo and Alphabet research teams to productionize 4D world modeling and generative AI research.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in ML engineering and applied deep learning.
- A strong portfolio of shipped products or a publication record.
- Experience developing and training large-scale generative video models or Vision Language Models and applying them to products.
- Deep expertise in 3D world modeling or 3D computer vision.
- Familiarity with 3D reconstruction and rendering techniques such as 3D Gaussian Splatting.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with Jax/Flax, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Preferred: PhD and a record of impactful ML products involving 3D generative models, world models, or video generation.
- Preferred: experience simulating camera, lidar, radar, or semantic scene data.
- Preferred: experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or autonomous vehicle simulation.
- Preferred: experience training and optimizing large-scale models on GPU/TPU clusters for efficient serving.
- Preferred: C++ experience for production systems.
