Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement caching strategies across build systems and package managers, including Turborepo and Bazel caching.
- Own Bazel build performance and reliability in CI through remote-cache strategy, cache-hit tuning, and build-graph optimization.
- Own the end-to-end pull-request landing experience, including signal quality, required checks, merge confidence, and time-to-green improvements.
- Own the workplace provisioning workflow.
- Improve CI runner infrastructure through sizing, placement, AMI and toolchain consistency, and utilization optimization.
- Build CI observability and reporting for pipeline latency and cost/performance trends.
- Partner with teams to identify cost-efficient ways to streamline developer workflows.
- Improve pre-commit and lint pipelines while maintaining enforcement quality.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Developer Experience, Build/Release Engineering, Platform Engineering, or CI/CD infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub or an equivalent CI platform, self-hosted runners, and workflow orchestration patterns.
- Proven success reducing CI time and improving pipeline reliability at scale.
- Deep understanding of caching across modern build systems, package ecosystems, and containerized CI, with Turborepo or Bazel preferred.
- Experience optimizing pull-request workflows, branch protections, required checks, merge strategies, and developer feedback loops.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar technologies, plus familiarity with infrastructure as code; Terraform is preferred.
- Comfort working across web, backend, C++, and embedded stacks while balancing shared platform needs.
- Strong debugging skills for flaky tests, cache misses, environment drift, and other non-deterministic CI issues.
- Desirable experience includes monorepo migrations, CI redesign, runner right-sizing, Turborepo task-graph optimization, Bazel remote execution and caching, CI health dashboards and SLOs, security and compliance checks in CI, and AI-assisted development workflows.
