Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs supporting business-critical financial workflows.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security.
- Create unit and integration tests with JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop database-driven solutions using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and contribute to modern DevOps practices.
Requirements
- 6 to 9 years of professional software development experience with Java-based enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
- Proficiency in unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of application security practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Maven, Docker, SQL/PLSQL, and messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ or similar platforms.
- Understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience includes Agile software delivery, Azure, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Jenkins, GitHub, Keycloak, SSO, API Keys, Multi-Factor Authentication, and Angular.
