Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance, reliable, scalable, and low-latency systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system issues using profilers, debuggers, log analyzers, and low-level assembly-language debugging when needed.
- Design and implement new features collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and conduct code reviews, performance testing, and quality assurance.
- Use AI tools and techniques to analyze systems, improve performance, and automate troubleshooting and operational tasks.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java or C++ with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and system-level programming.
- Demonstrated experience developing and optimizing low-latency, high-throughput systems, including performance tuning, memory management, and concurrency optimization.
- Proficiency diagnosing complex system issues with profilers, debuggers, and log analyzers, including assembly-level debugging when required.
- Strong STEM education background and knowledge of data structures, algorithms, system design, and network protocols.
- Preferred experience with high-availability systems, large-scale peak traffic, low-latency or real-time applications, and high-frequency trading platforms.
- Familiarity with message-oriented middleware, asynchronous programming, DevOps tools and practices such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms.
- English and Mandarin proficiency is preferred for collaboration with global and cross-functional teams.
- Experience using AI technologies to improve efficiency is preferred.
