Base Salary
$179k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop safe and efficient embedded software for radar and lidar sensors.
- Design, implement, and test high-performance C++ code in resource-constrained environments.
- Implement solutions aligned with functional safety standards.
- Work with suppliers and cross-functional hardware and systems engineering teams to deliver products successfully.
- Develop embedded software for sensor networking functions and autonomy-system interfaces.
Requirements
- Bachelor ’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or a PhD.
- At least 4 years of experience developing embedded applications and systems using C++.
- Proficiency with network communication concepts, including protocols, physical-layer requirements, bandwidth characteristics, and configuration.
- Experience with multi-processor SoCs or similar embedded processors.
- Strong software design, algorithm, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, and/or Embedded Linux is desired.
- Experience with complex, safety-critical sensing systems, network-based radar or lidar sensors, and technical leadership taking automotive products to production is preferred.
