Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Java-based Rhapsody modeling tools for software and system engineering supporting SDV2 architecture.
  • Design and implement middleware code generation for vehicle controller builds.
  • Manage Jenkins pipelines for automated generation of CI/CD artifacts.
  • Perform smoke testing and maintain evaluation and production tool release processes.
  • Develop and test Java automation scripts for software and system engineering models.
  • Identify, design, and implement workflow modifications and business application extensions with multiple teams.
  • Analyze and resolve user issues involving serial data and diagnostics communication between ECUs.
  • Lead technical solutions across requirements definition, functional decomposition, analysis, development, and testing.
  • Specify and balance system requirements across engineering and IT environments.
  • Create tooling process documentation and training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Java.
  • Knowledge of SDV AUTOSAR methodologies.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, or similar open-source tooling.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, high-change environment.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Preferred: 5 or more years of automotive industry experience and experience with system engineering modeling tools.
  • Preferred: experience with Java Swing, Java SWT, Java AWT, or JavaFX.
  • Preferred: understanding of automotive embedded systems, UML, and Product Line Engineering principles.
