Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document application test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Execute test cases and scenarios, report results, troubleshoot issues, and report defects.
- Collaborate with product management on defect triage, product beta testing, and stakeholder showcases.
- Work with application development, architecture, and infrastructure teams on test automation.
- Define success criteria for performance testing and application analysis initiatives.
- Test business intelligence and analytics applications in cloud environments.
- Enhance non-functional testing capabilities, including security, performance, and responsive design testing.
- Perform ETL, data warehouse, backend, BI report, frontend, and security testing.
- Identify bugs in complex ETL data processing and support delivery of high-quality software in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of testing principles, testing types, and testing methodologies.
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and interpret complex queries, plus experience with SQL and ETL testing.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java.
- Experience with ETL/data warehouse backend testing and business intelligence report testing.
- Experience with test management tools such as ALM, Rally, or JIRA.
- Experience with scheduling tools, preferably Cloud Composer (Airflow) or CTM.
- Proficiency in GCP, AWS, Azure, or another cloud platform.
- Experience with frontend automation using Java/Selenium or another tool.
- Familiarity with security testing, Agile methodologies, analytical problem solving, and written and verbal communication.
