Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and develop reusable, high-performing, and scalable distributed systems.
- Build and support quality hosted software services for enterprise customers.
- Develop software using Java and work with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Develop microservices and deploy global services in AWS.
- Address complex deployment concerns including security, networking, load balancers, service dependencies, and disaster recovery.
- Apply asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, publish/subscribe messaging, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Collaborate across module-based teams while taking ownership of product-wide needs.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in security or enterprise software development.
- Hands-on Java development experience and experience building large-scale distributed systems.
- A track record of architecting, designing, and delivering reusable, high-performing, and scalable systems.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores, Linux/Unix operating systems, and cloud-based enterprise services.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ownership, collaborative development ability, and a commitment to software quality.
- Preferred experience with microservices, the Spring Framework, AWS, big data technologies, asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, publish/subscribe messaging, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
