Base Salary

$154k - $208k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable, secure, reliable, extensible, reusable, cost-optimized, and performant AWS cloud solutions.
  • Assess customer workloads, evaluate technical trade-offs, and lead discussions covering application architecture, system design, and implementation.
  • Build relationships with senior customer leaders and influence technology strategies aligned with long-term business outcomes.
  • Create technical content, reference designs, reusable artifacts, and recommendations for technical and business audiences.
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions, conduct customer office hours, and identify technical gaps and opportunities.
  • Gather and translate customer feedback into clear business and technical requirements for product and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with account teams on customer strategy and stay current with AWS services and features.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders or clients.
  • Experience presenting to executives, IT professionals, management, and developers.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
