Responsibilities
- Understand complex application systems to debug business-impacting issues.
- Utilize incident management processes and tools to generate reports and take corrective actions.
- Leverage logging techniques for alerting, monitoring, and identifying root causes of incidents.
- Lead planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.
- Use continuous delivery practices to support high-quality software development.
- Efficiently deploy and run software using DevOps tools and practices.
- Mentor less-experienced peers through technical knowledge and leadership.
- Apply the latest technology thinking to solve client problems.
Requirements
- Experience in programming languages such as Java or .Net and scripting languages like Python or Powershell.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with application monitoring tools like DataDog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Familiarity with relational or non-relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github, or Azure pipelines.
- Strong debugging and triaging skills for effective troubleshooting.
- Ability to ensure high-quality and well-tested deliverables.
- Capability to conduct system performance analysis and implement optimization strategies.
- High-level understanding of various architectures including microservices and serverless.
