Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve cloud security posture across GCP organizations and AWS accounts, including connector coverage, runtime sensors, custom policies, finding triage, and integrations with Jira, PagerDuty, and Slack.
- Operate and evolve Cloudflare WAF, bot management, rate limiting, DNS/TLS, DDoS protection, and origin-routing controls for customer-facing production zones.
- Tune security rules using production traffic, manage allow-list requests, and enable other teams to use edge-security tooling.
- Manage vulnerability findings from Wiz, SAST, penetration testing, and customer reports through remediation closure.
- Participate in cloud security incident response for DDoS and bot attacks, supply-chain alerts, credential exposure, and data-handling incidents.
- Own SonarCloud SAST reporting, Dependabot scanning, container base-image hardening, SBOM/SCA tooling selection, and release-level security reporting.
- Produce technical evidence for SOC 2, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and NIS2, including logging, retention, access reviews, scanning, and IAM remediation evidence.
- Train Platform, CloudOps, and Product Engineering teams on Wiz and Cloudflare administration and automate security reporting and issue triage with scripting and AI-assisted workflows.
- Advise engineering teams on platform integrations and AI/RAG services and contribute to the cloud-security roadmap and target-state architecture.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud security or platform engineering with a security focus.
- Hands-on GCP or AWS experience covering IAM, audit logging, log routing, network security, and workload protection.
- Production experience with a CNAPP/CSPM platform such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Orca, or Google Security Command Center, including policy authoring, integrations, and runtime protection.
- Hands-on administration of WAF, CDN, and bot-management infrastructure at scale.
- Strong Terraform experience building security-tooling and WAF modules, reviewing changes, and managing configuration drift and legacy infrastructure.
- Experience managing vulnerabilities across cloud infrastructure, containers, and code, including SAST, SCA/dependency scanning, container image hardening, and penetration-test remediation.
- Experience routing cloud-security signals to platforms such as Wazuh, Microsoft Sentinel, Google Security Operations, or Datadog Security Monitoring, with PagerDuty and Slack alert integrations.
- Python or Bash scripting experience for automation and security reporting.
- Production security incident-response experience, including runbook development and vendor escalations.
- Experience with AI-assisted or LLM-based security workflow automation is preferred.
- Experience across both GCP and AWS, Azure, Rego, OPA, Okta SSO/SCIM, PAM solutions, OWASP SAMM, threat modeling, security-champions programs, airline or travel security, and PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIS2 is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security – Specialty are preferred.
