Base Salary
$204k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end architecture for public-chain connectivity, interoperability, and on-chain/off-chain workflows.
- Lead design reviews, establish engineering standards, and mentor senior engineers across multiple squads.
- Drive security-by-design practices including key management, smart contract assurance, threat modeling, monitoring, and incident response.
- Evaluate protocols and partners, contribute to open standards, and shape the public-chain roadmap.
- Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows, including AI-assisted code review, test generation and maintenance, release-readiness checks, incident triage, and root-cause analysis.
- Define guardrails for validation, security, resiliency, auditability, traceability, sensitive-data handling, and reuse across teams.
- Advise cross-functional teams and influence business, senior technical, and executive leaders on technology matters.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
- Deep experience building distributed systems and/or blockchain infrastructure, including public-chain integrations, node or provider architecture, indexing, RPC reliability, and L2 or bridging patterns.
- Strong system design, performance, and resilience engineering skills with the ability to operate in regulated environments.
- Proven technical leadership and a track record of shipping complex platforms at scale.
- Experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices across teams using enterprise-authorized tools.
- Understanding of responsible AI use and engineering control expectations, including security, resiliency, data sensitivity, risk-based governance, and safe scaling patterns.
- Ability to present and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives.
