Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications and systems supporting engine testing, including data acquisition and control systems and thermodynamic and vibration analysis tools.
- Collaborate with software project teams on execution planning, code reviews, test plans, and requirements compliance.
- Use DevSecOps methodologies and tools to streamline solution development and deployment.
- Work with PLC, avionics, instrumentation, and other internal engineering teams to address technical requirements.
- Configure new test environments and systems to support engine test integration and improve testing capabilities.
- Maintain and support engine-testing applications and systems to ensure ongoing functionality and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software/computer, electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering with 8+ years of experience, or a master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
- Full-stack development experience with C/C++, Qt, .NET, C#, and/or Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, implementation, validation, and the software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks and familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Understanding of engine and avionics control systems, communication protocols, networking, and acquisition hardware interfacing is preferred.
- Knowledge of thermodynamic and vibration analysis is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with database technologies, Java, FORTRAN, or TCL is an asset.
- Very good English proficiency is required for technical documentation and communication with international customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and required controlled-goods clearances is required.
