Responsibilities
- Engage customer technical decision-makers and influencers while helping lead sales strategy for security solutions.
- Lead complex cross-workload, cross-team, cross-geography, and subsidiary-level technical wins.
- Build competitive knowledge, document competitive patterns, and provide market feedback to product and engineering teams.
- Develop customer success plans, consumption plans, strategic responses to market threats, and account-level solution strategies.
- Build partner relationships, promote partners within the Microsoft ecosystem, and support partner technical capacity.
- Create readiness plans, mentor peers, lead technical communities, and share best practices through events and technical content.
- Engage product and engineering teams to remediate technical blockers and anticipate future customer needs.
- Lead architectural design sessions, demonstrations, proofs of concept, pilots, hackathons, and reusable solution assets.
- Consult with customers on security needs, security improvements, regulatory compliance, and integration solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 4+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience; bachelor's degree plus 6+ years; or 7+ years of technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for the stated education or experience pathways.
- Strong technical pre-sales, technical consulting, technology delivery, or related experience.
- Strong experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure; architecture design; migrations; industry standards; and/or technology management.
- Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines such as Office 365, Power BI, Azure architecture and development, cloud platform technologies, information security, or architecture.
