Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, secure, and high-performance backend applications.
- Analyze requirements, select implementation approaches, and develop software products.
- Design and implement scalable, testable code and integrate frontend elements with server-side logic.
- Write unit tests and high-level test cases.
- Use GitLab/GitHub repositories for source control and collaborate with frontend developers.
- Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, user story creation, and process improvements.
- Complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of non-academic software development experience.
- Experience with backend programming languages, especially Node.js.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and complex SQL queries.
- Experience with Git or other source-control systems.
- Knowledge of web server or application server configuration and deployment on AWS.
- Understanding of security and data protection, algorithms, data structures, performance optimization, and object-oriented programming.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
