Base Salary
$110k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop high-reliability C software for flight-software-representative applications and ground station software.
- Contribute to requirements interpretation, architecture, implementation, integration, automated testing, and system troubleshooting.
- Use C++, Python, scripting, test automation, and tooling to support the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and work within hardware-in-the-loop and flat-satellite test configurations for spacecraft behavior validation.
- Report progress and technical status to the software lead and contribute to an Agile engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience developing software in C/C++.
- Experience with Python and Linux environments.
- Experience with software engineering and project tools, including configuration control and CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
- Experience with software testing and knowledge of Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes NASA Core Flight System, C2/telemetry systems, RTOS, test harness development, embedded communication protocols, Git, MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys STK, and hardware-in-the-loop or system-integration test environments.
