Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure using GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Implement SRE practices and maintain the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud services.
- Build monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, capacity-planning, and demand-forecasting systems.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and develop automation scripts and tools.
- Apply cloud security best practices and perform security audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and operations teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in cloud engineering, site reliability engineering, or related roles.
- Strong experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and cloud-native services.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, and configuration-management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with AIOps.
- Knowledge of SRE principles, including error budgets, SLIs, SLOs, and incident management.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and GCM.
- Expertise building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Harness.
- Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar languages and familiarity with Git.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and application security best practices.
- Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and innovation skills.
Benefits
- Work location is Mountain View or San Francisco.
- Base pay range is $200,000—$250,000 USD.
