Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade Generative AI solutions including RAG pipelines, conversational assistants, and multi-agent systems.
- Lead prompt engineering, chain-of-thought orchestration, structured output parsing, guardrails, and LLM evaluation pipelines.
- Architect and own RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval optimization.
- Deploy and operate GenAI applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP with attention to scalability, security, and cost optimization.
- Implement monitoring and evaluation for response quality, latency, hallucination detection, and feedback loops.
- Define MLOps practices for LLM systems, including versioning, automated evaluation, and production monitoring.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and set technical direction for GenAI initiatives.
- Translate banking stakeholder requirements into technical solutions and partner with security, architecture, and compliance teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with significant hands-on experience building Generative AI or LLM-based solutions in production.
- Expert-level Python skills and experience with modern GenAI frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
- Deep understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation methodologies.
- Production integration experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI.
- Experience with vector databases including Pinecone, OpenSearch, FAISS, or Weaviate.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for deploying and scaling AI workloads.
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in banking or financial services.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams.
- Fluent English and a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include multi-agent or agentic AI workflow experience, familiarity with Langfuse, Weights & Biases, or Helicone, regulated-industry experience, MLOps experience, model governance knowledge, and AWS, Azure, or GCP ML/AI certifications.
