Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop software applications supporting manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Design, code, and test production-ready PC-based interfaces to hardware.
- Develop applications using C#, WPF, VB.NET, or Java in .NET Framework or .NET Core environments.
- Maintain and update electrical schematics and manufacturing-system documentation.
- Troubleshoot software and electrical issues on the production floor and support system uptime.
- Design scalable, maintainable, and supportable systems.
- Use Git or TFS for version control and collaboration.
- Participate in initiatives improving equipment performance, usability, and reliability.
Requirements
- Be a current rising junior or rising senior with a graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Pursue a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Be able to start on May 17 or May 24, 2027, and work for 12 weeks.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Have programming experience in one or more of C#, WPF, VB.NET, or Java.
- Have familiarity with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
- Preferred qualifications include Git or TFS experience, Visual Studio experience, medical-device industry experience, collaboration skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
