Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, maintain, and improve automated verification and regression test suites for integrated MR systems.
- Verify that product features meet system and product requirements and improve test efficiency and coverage.
- Set up, evolve, and maintain test automation infrastructure and apply modern automation practices.
- Collaborate with verification engineers, test automation teams, and stakeholders across global R&D sites and disciplines.
- Drive testing activities for assigned components or modules, investigate issues, remove impediments, and support risk management.
- Coach and mentor team members on test automation practices, tools, and processes.
- Translate emerging approaches such as Model-Based Testing and AI-driven testing into practical applications.
- Maintain robust, reliable, and maintainable test solutions and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- B.E., M.C.A., or a university degree in computer science or electronics with broad technical understanding.
- 5–10 years of experience as an automation test engineer or equivalent experience in software development and/or test automation.
- Strong coding skills and expertise in C# and .NET.
- Strong knowledge of software development, testing, debugging, SDLC, and STLC.
- Experience with modern test automation frameworks, trends, best practices, and test automation infrastructure.
- Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM.
- Ability to independently drive testing activities for assigned components or modules with minimal direction.
- Strong investigation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience collaborating in global, multicultural teams and across hardware, software, and systems engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of healthcare and interoperability standards is advantageous.
- Experience with Agile ways of working and the hardware/software development lifecycle.
