Responsibilities
- Develop backend features using TypeScript and Node for Morpho’s Consumer team.
- Design and evolve REST and GraphQL APIs and data models for accurate, secure financial data.
- Operate and improve PostgreSQL-backed data pipelines for performance, reliability, and availability.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and product to scope, ship, and iterate on end-to-end Consumer features.
- Implement architecture improvements to data processing, caching, and API layer design.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Write documentation and asynchronous updates for distributed stakeholders.
- Own Consumer API delivery and architecture decisions within the Consumer vertical.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of backend development experience in production TypeScript/Node environments.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
- Experience with a backend-for-frontend stack or close collaboration with frontend teams to serve product data.
- A track record operating production systems at scale, including reliability, observability, and performance under real load.
- Strong interest in the Web3 ecosystem and willingness to learn the DeFi domain.
- Comfort working in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Strong ownership, autonomy, clear asynchronous communication, and a team-first mindset.
- Humble approach and low-ego collaboration.
