Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex databases and database applications.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot database issues.
- Write and execute SQL and NoSQL queries while maintaining data security and integrity.
- Test databases for accuracy and functionality and document database designs and modifications.
- Create software for retrieving, parsing, processing, and converting structured and unstructured data.
- Define and build scalable ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
- Support the scaling, monitoring, and operation of highly available, high-performance data platforms.
- Provide technical support for database-related questions and issues.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in database design and development.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and T-SQL.
- Experience working with MS SQL Server.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
- Database administration, performance tuning, and security best-practices experience is preferred.
- Experience with MySQL or SingleStore (MemSQL) is preferred.
- A certificate in Database Development is preferred.
