Responsibilities
- Perform penetration testing of web systems, cloud services, and IoT solutions using hacking techniques.
- Assess vulnerability risks and prepare detailed penetration-testing reports.
- Present findings, testing procedures, methodologies, and vulnerability severity to stakeholders and technical teams.
- Investigate and analyze software vulnerabilities and design measures to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Research and evaluate security-industry trends and best practices.
- Conduct penetration testing independently across web, Android, and iOS platforms and propose remediation solutions.
Requirements
- More than one year of penetration-testing experience with knowledge of penetration-testing steps, methods, and processes.
- Experience with web and application security requirements and independent testing of web, Android, and iOS platforms.
- Knowledge of common operating-system and database vulnerabilities, OWASP Top 10, SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF, including detection, exploitation, and remediation methods.
- Proficiency with BurpSuite, Nmap, Sqlmap, and Kali Linux, including understanding security-tool principles and script code.
- Ability to independently complete penetration testing for applications and servers and propose solutions for identified vulnerabilities.
- OSCP certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
