Responsibilities
- Monitor and support production environments.
- Collaborate with engineers to design, implement, and publish fintech services using Spring Framework.
- Identify and apply modern technologies and software development techniques.
- Perform load tests, analyze results, identify root causes of performance issues, and provide proactive solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance and stability issues in real-world environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong software development skills in Java, Spring, and Bash scripting.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, systems, and networks.
- Experience with distributed, high-concurrency, and high-throughput applications.
- Experience with relational database modeling and tuning for high-throughput applications, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Experience with load balancers and reverse proxies such as httpd and Nginx.
- Experience with queueing and event streaming systems.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, Cassandra, or MongoDB is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker Swarm and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools is a plus.
- Experience with secure code development guidelines and practices such as OWASP and NIST.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, and deadline-management skills.
