Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Champion the selection, evaluation, and lifecycle management of enterprise AI platforms, frameworks, and tools.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on AI platform architecture, including model lifecycle tooling, containerization, orchestration, vector databases, prompt management, RAG frameworks, and model hosting.
- Conduct proof-of-concepts and experiments with emerging AI services, foundation models, and developer tools.
- Guide AI delivery teams in solution design and reuse of approved enterprise AI patterns.
- Document and coach teams on AI platform standards, best practices, and reference architectures.
- Partner with Enterprise Technology to ensure AI platforms are secure, compliant, cost-efficient, and operationally resilient.
- Bridge the AI Center of Excellence with other technical platform teams to support knowledge sharing and adoption of shared practices.
- Consult with product owners, data scientists, and engineers to identify platform gaps and implement enhancements.
- Support platform safeguards, governance controls, and enterprise guidelines for responsible and sustainable AI use.
Requirements
- Strong technical experience across AI, ML, and cloud platform engineering, especially researching, implementing, and onboarding new technologies and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments, with AWS strongly preferred, including AI/ML development, deployment, and data-processing services.
- Experience deploying, integrating, or supporting production AI/ML systems, including MLOps pipelines, model hosting, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience conducting proof-of-concept work, evaluating emerging technologies, and translating findings into recommendations.
- Strong understanding of modern AI stacks, APIs, foundation models, vector databases, orchestration tools, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns.
- Experience working in or with enterprise architecture, platform engineering, or MLOps functions.
- Familiarity with AI-specific security, governance, and responsible AI considerations.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, communication, and technical-consulting skills are required.
