Responsibilities
- Provide Apache Airflow expertise to customers.
- Solve challenging Airflow problems and optimize configurations.
- Spend up to 20% of time on side projects contributing to Astronomer's success.
- Work directly with customers' data engineers and management.
- Own the customer experience and meet SLAs.
- Participate in a paid on-call rotation for weekend coverage.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional experience in any industry.
- 3 years of experience with Python programming.
- 1+ year of experience with Apache Airflow.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies.
- Customer support experience is required.
- Experience with distributed systems on major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
