Base Salary
$118k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into data and technical requirements.
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and tune factory automation database systems.
- Build robust, reliable, high-performance manufacturing data pipelines and distributed data systems.
- Analyze, prototype, and enhance automation solutions to improve factory performance, output, and cycle time.
- Collaborate with automation, manufacturing planning, and industrial engineering teams on data-driven solutions.
- Provide technical documentation, product manuals, and post-deployment system support.
- Adapt priorities to changing business needs while supporting 24/7 manufacturing capabilities.
Requirements
- US citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain US Government TS Security Clearance and SCI access is required.
- A BS degree with 7+ years of experience, an MS degree with 5+ years of experience, or a PhD degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with large-scale enterprise database design, development, deployment, performance tuning, Oracle, SQL Server, and PL/SQL development is required.
- At least 4 years of experience with data transformations, data structures, metadata, workload management, object-oriented software design or development, and distributed systems is required.
- Preferred qualifications include semiconductor manufacturing or factory automation experience, data pipeline optimization, RDBMS experience, C# programming, Windows/Linux systems, enterprise networking and firewalls, automated testing and deployment, and software development lifecycle experience.
- An active US Government TS or TS/SCI security clearance is preferred.
