Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and improve tooling, automation, observability, and incident-management processes for vehicle software reliability.
- Collaborate with field engineers, software teams, and operations to diagnose reliability issues and improve system performance.
- Debug Linux, low-level systems, logs, metrics, traces, vehicle data, and production systems.
- Develop reliability improvements that reduce manual intervention and accelerate issue detection, triage, and recovery.
- Support vehicle-centric operations, including safety-operator tools and customer and partner programs.
Requirements
- Write production-quality code daily in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Be comfortable debugging at the Linux and systems level, reading logs, tracing failures, and identifying root causes.
- Have experience with CI/CD, containerization, networking, distributed systems, databases, observability, and incident-management tooling.
- Have experience diagnosing complex production or operational systems through resolution.
- Communicate effectively across engineering, operations, and field teams and exercise sound escalation judgment.
- Be based in Sunnyvale and able to work onsite at least three days per week.
- Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, embedded systems, safety-critical environments, large-scale telemetry, high-volume data pipelines, vehicle-centric systems, or on-device software is desirable.
