Base Salary

$74k - $147k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement, inspect, integrate, test, and support Material Handling Software solutions and implementations.
  • Lead or assist project teams with user requirements, functional and interface specifications, testing, issue tracking, trend analysis, and project delivery.
  • Lead or assist warehouse material-handling enhancement projects involving evaluation, implementation planning, documentation, deployment, and closeout.
  • Support and train users on automated material-handling solutions and develop related training materials.
  • Prepare WCS support, modification, and documentation materials for division systems.
  • Participate in cybersecurity technology design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Assist with business intelligence initiatives and resolve application-code and interface-messaging issues.
  • Work evenings and weekends as necessary and travel up to 20% annually.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education, normally obtained through a four-year program.
  • Minimum six years of directly related and progressively responsible Warehouse Control System experience.
  • Understanding of software solutions and experience with warehouse material-handling and automation systems.
  • Programming skills in SQL Server/Oracle and/or Visual Studio/Java.
  • Experience writing test plans and conducting testing.
  • Ability to write functional and technical specifications and integrate components into larger systems.
  • Strong issue-resolution, analytical, debugging, communication, decision-making, customer-service, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Preferred experience with XML, JSON, SFTP, Telnet, Python, Azure, Power BI, Databricks, VMware, functional and interface specifications, and system integration.
  • Knowledge of project-management concepts and associated tools, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and individuals or teams.
