Responsibilities
- Define multi-year security strategy components for cloud infrastructure.
- Design and scope infrastructure security initiatives for execution.
- Architect and implement security automation and frameworks.
- Conduct comprehensive security reviews and threat modeling.
- Drive adoption of infrastructure security standards across teams.
- Quantify architectural tradeoffs for decision-making.
- Serve as the go-to expert for Infrastructure Security.
- Mentor and develop engineers in technical leadership.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of cloud infrastructure security (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable recommendations.
- Principal-level technical leadership experience.
- Extensive experience with large distributed systems in a SaaS context.
- Track record of leading impactful projects with ambiguous requirements.
- History of driving technical strategy for organization-wide security posture.
- Understanding of security certifications and frameworks like FedRAMP and ISO 27001.
