Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Potentially contribute to the continuous integration framework for the automation suite.
- Build automation frameworks and scripts for end-to-end API, UI, and other testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and work with development teams to resolve them.
Requirements
- Experience in software testing and test automation.
- Proficiency in Playwright, preferably with Python; TypeScript or JavaScript is also acceptable.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with SQL and REST APIs, including data validation and simple queries.
- Experience testing web applications, complicated workflows, and API/UI functionality.
- Strong core testing skills and the ability to influence repeatable testing and sustainable automation approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a master's degree in Software Engineering.
- Preferred: experience with enterprise ERP platforms.
- Preferred: basic AWS cloud knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Preferred: strong communication, collaboration, independent problem-solving, and ability to articulate outputs to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Listed certifications include Certified Software Tester (CSTE), GitOps Certified Fundamentals, ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), ISTQB Certified Tester, and Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer.
