Responsibilities

  • Support Private Wireless customer explorations through solution design, use-case integration, and network deployment.
  • Develop and test an in-house solution proposal, including a Single Pane of Glass portal for managing and monitoring solution components.
  • Develop graphical user interfaces and integrate Private Wireless use cases through component APIs.
  • Design, develop, and integrate customer-specific use cases, including coding for Android cellular devices and applications using AI and ML.
  • Develop automation tools for testing radio and core access network solutions.
  • Support research-oriented lab and field evaluations involving Non-Terrestrial Networks, 6G, and AI/ML in private network environments.
  • Participate in internship professional development, networking, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or Information Technology.
  • Must have a current GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Must be able to travel locally to Spectrum internship development events and activities.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship.
  • Preferred qualifications include Python, C, Java, Jason, UX/UI design, application development including Android, and theoretical knowledge of LTE, 5G, and 6G telecommunications.
