Base Salary
$161k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable software architectures for fleet health monitoring.
- Decompose monolithic systems into modular microservices and APIs.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams and promote software engineering best practices.
- Serve as the principal technical liaison with senior external stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize data processing pipelines and database structures for flight and maintenance analytics.
- Plan and execute major program milestones while balancing delivery needs and architectural improvements.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and communicate recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Advance software engineering standards and incorporate emerging technologies and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience with software development life cycle and architecture frameworks.
- 9+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in a specified technical field with 9+ years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of directly related experience, or 17+ years of related experience.
- Preferred: 9+ years of experience with Vue.js or Angular and C#.
- Preferred: experience in an agile development environment, leadership or project coordination, mission-critical or operational software, and aerospace or defense.
