Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and application services.
- Engineer and maintain CSPM and DLP capabilities to detect, assess, and reduce cloud risk.
- Integrate security controls with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, SIEM, and enterprise security tooling.
- Develop detection logic, automation, and response mechanisms supporting incident containment and recovery.
- Own the software development lifecycle from design and implementation through deployment and production support.
- Collaborate with platform engineers, application teams, and Digital Product Managers to align controls with architectures and developer workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software or security engineering experience with hands-on ownership of production systems in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, including Python, Java, or JavaScript, with experience writing and maintaining production-grade code.
- Hands-on experience engineering security controls in public cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience building or integrating CSPM, data protection, or DLP capabilities.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, including identity, networking, storage, and compute services.
- Experience engineering preventative, detective, and responsive security capabilities, including detection logic, automation, or response workflows.
- Familiarity integrating security controls and signals with SIEM or security monitoring platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational feedback loops.
- Preferred qualifications include CSPM policy-as-code, drift detection, automated remediation, data classification, security telemetry, logging pipelines, incident response, cloud automation, and least-privilege design experience.

- Compensation ranges from $90,700 to $195,700 annually based on experience and qualifications.
