Responsibilities
- Administer and optimize AWS environments for security, performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Enhance DataDog monitoring and observability to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Standardize infrastructure and provide developer self-service through automation tools, APIs, and UIs.
- Lead Kubernetes initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
- Tune cloud performance, manage resources, and reduce infrastructure costs.
- Diagnose and resolve complex incidents across AWS environments.
- Implement cloud security and regulatory compliance best practices.
- Improve CI/CD deployment pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS services.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical initiatives and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams on AWS-based solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Deep hands-on AWS experience, including security, performance tuning, and cost management.
- Proficiency with DataDog, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, CI/CD practices, and Windows Server/IIS administration.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for reliability, automation, and scalable cloud-native systems.
