Senior Software Engineer - Low Level C++ - Linux & Cloud Security
SentinelOneResponsibilities
- Develop new agent capabilities primarily in C++23, with occasional Rust and/or Go development.
- Research Linux and cloud security technologies and design detection strategies and security features.
- Work across Linux kernel-level components, user-space engines, and cloud-native security capabilities.
- Architect and deliver scalable end-to-end security solutions for loosely defined, complex problems.
- Write tests, conduct code reviews, and participate in design reviews.
- Support customers with issues and requests within the team’s domain.
- Participate in daily and weekly scrum meetings.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience developing complex systems as a software engineer using modern C++.
- Proficiency in Linux operating system architecture and internals.
- Hands-on experience with Linux low-level development and debugging.
- Experience working on a production-grade product with wide-scale deployment.
- Preferred or learnable experience includes Linux kernel development or kernel tracing, eBPF, Linux networking, security-oriented development, Docker, Kubernetes, Rust, Go, or Python.
