Responsibilities
- Enhance the POS ecosystem and related retail software for a new target market.
- Develop frontend applications using Angular.js, Vue.js, or ReactJS.
- Develop backend services using Node.js, ExpressJS, or another Node.js framework.
- Use PHP, Slim Framework, and SQL for application development and database access.
- Apply security best practices and optimize SQL query performance.
- Collaborate with clients, executives, managers, and coworkers in individual and team settings.
- Deliver software to production in a fast-paced development environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a full-stack development role.
- Professional experience with Angular.js, Vue.js, or ReactJS; Node.js and ExpressJS or another Node.js framework.
- Working knowledge of PHP, Slim Framework, Linux, and SQL.
- Experience with distributed source code control using Git.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with GitHub, Jira, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQL query performance optimization, Lubuntu, AWS services, and Swagger.
