Responsibilities
- Support and take ownership of selected areas of the overall DeltaV Syncade MES solution.
- Assist with the design, implementation, testing, configuration, and management of complex MES solutions.
- Create functional designs, detailed design documentation, and test documentation for validated environments.
- Install, commission, start up, troubleshoot, and provide technical support for Emerson systems at the customer site.
- Communicate progress and scope with the Lead Engineer and resident engineering team.
- Provide emergency call-out services and customer training and mentorship.
- Follow Emerson and customer HSEQ standards and Trade Compliance procedures.
Requirements
- Technical background in mechanical, electrical, computer science, or control systems at minimum technical college level.
- Knowledge of MES systems, preferably Syncade.
- Experience in process industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceutical, chemical, or oil and gas.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in Italian and English.
- Willingness to work non-office hours and perform call-out services.
- Valid driving license.
- Preferred qualifications include multiple Syncade module certifications, familiarity with DeltaV, process automation instrumentation, networking, and Windows platforms, LIMS or ERP integration experience, validated-environment documentation experience, and ability to work offshore if required.
