Base Salary
$155k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across GCPâs ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineers to design performant APIs, databases, and backend systems.
- Improve reliability and observability across the stack.
- Evolve CI/CD pipelines and developer environments for faster shipping.
- Empower teams to use AI tools effectively across the development process.
- Own system performance, uptime, and scalability as usage grows.
- Implement security best practices.
- Respond to and help prevent production incidents.
Requirements
- 3â11 years of infrastructure or backend engineering experience.
- Experience designing and managing serverless or event-driven systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and best practices.
- Experience with observability systems like Sentry and GCP Cloud Logging.
- Solid grasp of networking, security, and performance tuning fundamentals.
- Comfort working in Typescript/Node.js environments.
- A builderâs mindset focused on automation and optimization.
- Habit of leveraging AI tools for efficiency.
- Deep sense of ownership and dedication to ambitious outcomes.
- Collaborative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
