Base Salary
$155k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure across GCP
- Collaborate on performant APIs, databases, and backend systems
- Improve reliability and observability through monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing
- Evolve CI/CD pipelines and developer environments
- Help teams use AI tools effectively and safely in development
- Own system performance, uptime, and scalability as usage grows
- Implement security practices including secrets management and access control
- Respond to and help prevent production incidents
Requirements
- 3–11 years of infrastructure or backend engineering experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
- Experience designing and managing serverless or event-driven systems at scale
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and best practices
- Experience with observability systems such as Sentry and GCP Cloud Logging and Metrics Explorer
- Understanding of networking, security, and performance-tuning fundamentals
- Comfort working in TypeScript and Node.js environments
- Interest in automation, optimization, team enablement, and developer tooling
- Experience leveraging AI tools for development, debugging, and prototyping
- Strong ownership, collaboration, pragmatism, and ability to deliver on fast timelines
