Responsibilities
- Develop Java backend systems using frameworks, tools, and other technologies for customer projects.
- Design, develop, and implement APIs and web services.
- Integrate backend systems with frontend systems and databases.
- Monitor backend system performance and scalability.
- Analyze customer requirements and implement them in backend systems.
- Document developed systems and ensure compliance with development standards and guidelines.
- Contribute to technical concepts and create software architecture.
- Use automated testing to help ensure application quality.
Requirements
- Academic degree in computer science, statistics, or data science, or several years of practical experience working with Java backend systems as a career changer.
- In-depth knowledge of frameworks, tools, and technologies used in backend development.
- Knowledge of API and web service development.
- Knowledge of databases and experience with ORM frameworks.
- Experience integrating backend systems with frontend systems.
- Analytical thinking and ability to contribute to technical concepts and architecture.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
