Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software tools for silicon debug, validation, and manufacturing test.
- Debug and fix software issues, perform developer-owned validation, and create functional documentation.
- Provide technical support to customers and identify root causes for silicon power-on issues.
- Perform hardware-software integration and debugging involving JTAG, I3C, SMBus, and silicon TAP topology.
- Collaborate with validation engineering teams and external customers to leverage silicon debug features.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to Scrum and Kanban development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience with object-oriented software development and debugging.
- At least 4 years of experience in hardware-software integration and debugging.
- At least 4 years of experience programming with Python, C, and C++.
- At least 4 years of experience with Git or GitHub.
- Advanced English skills and unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and interest in Intel Architecture and silicon debug.
- Preferred: requirements elicitation, Intel validation tools and processes, MBIST, scan dump, JTAG, I3C, silicon TAP topology, simulation frameworks, or silicon validation experience.
