Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work autonomously with minimal oversight to identify issues and course-correct solutions.
- Own initiatives through product definition, development, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
- Partner with engineers, designers, product managers, and operations teams on expansion into new market verticals.
- Orchestrate multiple AI agents to build solutions quickly.
- Build infrastructure and train non-technical teams to use AI tools effectively.
- Establish engineering processes and systems that scale the codebase and increase product velocity.
- Use metrics and creative problem-solving to address scaling challenges and support platform growth.
- Participate throughout the product lifecycle, including using internal tools and providing feedback.
- Visit client sites and regional offices to understand customer problems and validate solutions.
- Collaborate regularly with teams in Asia and adapt to a high-growth startup environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Fluency in TypeScript, Rust, Java, or related technology.
- Passion for using AI to accelerate engineering work.
- Strong product sense and intuition.
- Proven technical leadership in shipping products, hands-on engineering, and leading critical projects to production.
- Passion for building strong user experiences and achieving real-world impact.
- Restaurant industry or restaurant technology experience is a plus.
- Experience meeting accessibility standards and best practices is a plus.
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing is a plus.
- Experience building products from 0 to 1 in an unstructured environment is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, highly ambiguous environment and taking on multiple roles is a plus.
