Responsibilities
- Build and ship backend software for the Growth Platform across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo.
- Own features end to end from ideation through production.
- Develop systems that unify customer data, intelligence, and marketing execution at global scale.
- Design and improve AI-agent workflows, including human review and agent task ownership.
- Build internal tooling and abstractions to make AI-assisted development faster and more reliable.
- Collaborate across backend, data, ML, product, and international engineering teams.
- Maintain testing, observability, reliability, and maintainability of production software.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping real software, including products, platforms, APIs, or applications.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and an understanding of operating software at scale.
- Experience or genuine enthusiasm for AI tools, AI agents, and agentic coding workflows.
- Ability to take ownership, drive projects forward, and communicate clearly across teams and time zones.
- Collaborative approach to working across backend, data, ML, and product disciplines.
- Ability to write tests, respond to alerts, and follow through on production responsibilities.
