Responsibilities
- Build scalable, high-impact acquisition technology products for millions of users.
- Own projects end to end, from design and feature definition through shipping and delivery.
- Develop systems supporting organic search growth, duplicate-content reduction, and paid-search bid optimization.
- Write, test, deploy, and maintain production code in a predominantly Python-based environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, and non-technical teams.
- Contribute to code quality, technical leadership, open-source projects, and the engineering community.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience writing production code.
- Strong software engineering skills and a passion for well-engineered products.
- Experience building scalable, high-impact, high-performing products.
- Comfort working with Python or another performant typed language such as C++ or Java.
- Experience in a leadership role and delivering projects from start to finish.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, TDD, and APIs, with an interest in microservices.
- Confidence working with changing requirements, ambiguity, and autonomous delivery.
- Experience testing and deploying code, including confidence using Docker and Git.
