Base Salary
$143k - $331k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of large-scale AI services and platforms focused on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Own services end to end from architecture and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
- Drive architecture decisions, dependency management, and execution across complex initiatives.
- Partner with product, engineering, cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to align technical strategy, gather feedback, and resolve complex issues.
- Advance observability, automation, deployment safety, operational efficiency, and reusable platforms and frameworks.
- Champion system design, testing, security, privacy, compliance, and code quality practices.
- Mentor engineers and lead code reviews and design discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable Microsoft, customer, or government security screening requirements.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C++, C#, Go, Java, or Python.
- Preferred: 8+ years designing and delivering highly available, large-scale cloud services and distributed systems.
- Preferred: 2+ years of technical engineering experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence systems.
