Responsibilities
- Maintain the availability, reliability, accessibility, monitoring, and alerting of trading and finance platforms.
- Automate release and deployment processes and build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Prototype and design infrastructure features in collaboration with software developers.
- Deploy, install, configure, and maintain trading, finance, and related software.
- Provision and configure bare-metal and cloud-based servers, networks, storage, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring systems.
- Administer UNIX infrastructure and manage Nexus and Git repositories.
- Make infrastructure decisions related to scalability, reliability, and accessibility.
- Install and manage internal and external monitoring systems and troubleshoot system errors.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the field.
- Experience as an SRE or DevOps professional.
- Strong OS-level administration experience with Linux and/or UNIX.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible and/or Terraform.
- Experience orchestrating Docker containers with OpenShift and/or HashiCorp technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and the ISO/OSI stack.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Grafana, and Kibana.
- Experience with Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, and/or Envoy.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Preferred: JVM application support experience, including garbage collection and memory leaks.
- Preferred: software development and hands-on Bash, Python, and/or Groovy scripting experience.
- Preferred: experience configuring TeamCity CI/CD pipelines and solving problems with code and scripting.
